About the role
- Developing and designing Heat Rejection and HVAC systems specifically tailored for data centers.
- Selecting appropriate air/water side cooling systems for data centers.
- Conducting internal CFD simulations to optimize airflow distribution.
- Designing HVAC systems with redundancy and fault-tolerant features.
- Performing heat load calculations for data centers.
- Implementing energy-efficient HVAC design strategies.
- Ensuring the data center's air quality is maintained at optimal levels.
- Collaborating with electrical engineers and mechanical engineers to integrate systems seamlessly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education.
- Experience in data center mechanical and electrical equipment installation and operation.
- Direct experience supporting data center projects.
- Experience working with hyperscale or colocation clients.
- Experience with Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build delivery models.
- Professional licensure (Architect, Engineer) is preferred but not required.
