About the role
- Development of technical reports, drawings, layouts, structural design, and loading cases
- Produce structural steelwork, wiring arrangements and bonding plans
- Being able to do mechanical and geometric calculations for the OLE system
- Capable of working independently with new OLE design ranges
- Development of technical specifications
- Establishing interfaces with systems/disciplines/stakeholders
- Attending interdisciplinary reviews
- Answering construction team queries
- Quality control management
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience
- Previous experience in the UK or Australia
- Previous experience in OLE/OCS projects (new electrification and renewals) along with an understanding of the railway industry.
- Proficiency in the use of CAD tools - Microstation / AUTOCAD
- It is desirable for the candidate to know structural assessment software and the BIM environment.
- Being capable of working remotely with offices from different countries.
- Fluency in English. If you also speak any other language, it will be more than welcome.
