About the role
- Plan, direct and execute various sized projects to support our Renewables and Advanced Nuclear Department
- Manage the design process from the project basis of design stage through the issuance of deliverables
- Ensure seamless coordination between internal and external stakeholders
- Use strong working knowledge of electric utilities and power generation to manage the full life cycle of projects
- Be responsible for design, permitting, construction, community engagement, and establishing/achieving critical project milestones
- Collaborate and lead project stakeholders
- Identify project opportunities early and facilitate go/no-go decisions
- Prepare and lead client presentations, and negotiation of contracts
- Take ownership of internal project financials, staffing, legal coordination, and risk management
Requirements
- BS/BA Degree in Engineering (or related discipline)
- 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Professional Engineering Licensure (PE)
- Demonstrated experience in delivering complex projects and/or programs with high quality on schedule and within scope and budget
- 10+ Years total of relevant experience, including project management and engineering
- Experience in managing projects worked in collaborative model environments (e.g. Navisworks)
- Proficiency in schedule development including utilization of software applications but also competence to identify predecessor data needs and interdependencies
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with facilitating design reviews
- Demonstrated success working in a remote team environment
