About the role Support the Environmental business line, primarily overseeing Federal environmental remediation projects Familiar with project invoicing and cash flow management Manages and directs professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects Leads teams by utilizing advanced scientific principles, theories, and practices Utilizes existing technologies and experience to develop technical solutions to complex problems Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance Analyzes financial statements and completes budget tracking Performs work with minimal direction with periodic reporting to area manager Oversees the preparation of work plans and organizes project studies Performs complex assignments often requiring the development of unique solutions to problems with the support of the project team Supervises junior and mid-level staff during all phases of project work Conducts reviews and provides staff feedback for continued improvement Requirements BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Valid US Drivers License Due to the nature of the work U.S. Citizenship is required. Professional License (PE, PG, PMP, CHMM, or similar) - Preferred 10+ years’ experience in environmental remediation (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, PFAS, munitions) project management - Preferred Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or related field - Preferred Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations - Preferred Experience successfully managing environmental projects for Federal clients (USACE, AFCEC, Navy) - Preferred Thorough working knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA - Preferred Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication, both verbal and written skills - Preferred Experience in team management and scheduling of staff and resources to ensure on time and on budget project delivery - Preferred Superior communication, writing, editing, and reporting skills for a wide variety of audiences - Preferred Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders - Preferred Interest in business development - Preferred Have led teams of professionals in executing Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessment, Treatability Studies, Remedial Design, and Remedial Action Construction, in support of Federal environmental projects - Preferred Occasional overnight travel required - Preferred medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability benefits paid time off leaves of absences voluntary benefits perks flexible work options well-being resources employee assistance program business travel insurance service recognition awards retirement savings plan employee stock purchase plan Copy Applicant Tracking System Keywords Tip: use these terms in your resume and cover letter to boost ATS matches.
