About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work directly with high-profile clients, including publicly and privately held companies, financial institutions, private equity firms, hedge funds, and non-profits, advising on a broad array of sophisticated matters such as:
- Executive compensation and ERISA issues in complex corporate transactions and restructurings
- Design and implementation of equity and cash incentive programs, deferred compensation plans, and employment agreements
- Compliance with tax-qualified plan rules and ERISA fiduciary duties
- Navigating intersecting issues in tax, securities, corporate, and employment law
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–7 years of experience in employee benefits or executive compensation law
- Demonstrated interest in executive comp and ERISA-related work
- Strong academic background and outstanding writing/analytical skills
- Current admission (or eligibility) to practice in New York.
