About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide acute inpatient-level medical care in a Hospital at Home setting
- Deliver hospital-level acute care to adult patients in their homes through a hybrid clinical and virtual care model
- Manage up to 16 patients per day, with an average of 12 admissions per shift
- Work a 7 on / 7 off schedule, primarily 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Participate in occasional onsite training, meetings, administrative work, or rounding
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including 24/7 nursing coverage, APPs, and dedicated nocturnists
- Share call coverage, primarily handled by nocturnists
- Provide care without ICU coverage or procedures
- Maintain hospital privileges at multiple Atrium Health facilities and telemedicine privileges for select sites
Requirements
What you’ll need- MD or DO
- Internal Medicine or Family Medicine board certification
- Georgia medical license or eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of post-training experience
- New graduates not considered
- Must live in Georgia
- Hospital privileges required at multiple Atrium Health facilities
- Telemedicine privileges for select sites
