About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide acute inpatient-level medical care in a Hospital at Home setting
  • Deliver hospital-level acute care to adult patients in their homes through a hybrid clinical and virtual care model
  • Manage up to 16 patients per day, with an average of 12 admissions per shift
  • Work a 7 on / 7 off schedule, primarily 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
  • Participate in occasional onsite training, meetings, administrative work, or rounding
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including 24/7 nursing coverage, APPs, and dedicated nocturnists
  • Share call coverage, primarily handled by nocturnists
  • Provide care without ICU coverage or procedures
  • Maintain hospital privileges at multiple Atrium Health facilities and telemedicine privileges for select sites

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • MD or DO
  • Internal Medicine or Family Medicine board certification
  • Georgia medical license or eligibility
  • Minimum 1 year of post-training experience
  • New graduates not considered
  • Must live in Georgia
  • Hospital privileges required at multiple Atrium Health facilities
  • Telemedicine privileges for select sites
