About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices
- Deliver direct therapy services and modify interventions based on patient response and progress
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers to support carryover of skills and long-term success
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
- Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress reports, and discharge summaries
- Help individuals reclaim their ability to communicate and swallow safely and effectively
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs are welcome with strong mentorship offered
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- A patient-first mindset and a heart for making meaningful change
- Weekday and weekend coverage needed
