About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide patient care within homes
- Improve or minimize residual physical disabilities of the patient
- Participate in patient care planning with other home care personnel
- Perform skilled procedures as ordered by physician
- Instruct patients and family members in home programs and exercises
- Prepare medical records and update care plans in a timely manner
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate and meets the requirements for certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education
- Certification maintained by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc.
- Currently certified to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as an Occupational Therapy Assistant by the State Board of Occupational Therapy
- Two (2) years of experience preferred.
