About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take a client from book plan to final draft of a manuscript ready for copyediting
- Proactively engage with clients throughout the ghostwriting process
- Organize, plan, and manage the execution of the ghostwriting process
- Ensure all phases of the ghostwriting project are completed on time, within budget, and with high client satisfaction
- Manage the overall word count of the manuscript
- Deliver editorial excellence
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of three years of book ghostwriting experience
- Exceptional writing, editing, grammar, spelling, and communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of the Chicago Manual of Style
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- High level of competency in Microsoft Word and Track Changes
- Ability to work effectively with a highly creative and senior-level clientele
- A minimum of three diverse examples of your ghostwriting work will need to be submitted if your application is moved forward in our process. Examples must be a minimum of 1,000 words each.
