Conduct collision scene investigations
Conduct vehicle examinations
Analyze physical evidence, vehicle damage, roadway conditions, photographs, and electronic data
Download, collect, and interpret Event Data Recorder (EDR) data
Obtain and analyze Vehicle Sampling Evidence
Analyze and interpret evidence and data to render an expert opinion pertaining to damage and to confirm or dispute a claim
Work independently and manage assignments from intake through final reporting
Maintain professional documentation and chain of custody standards
Present findings in the courtroom as an expert.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Demonstrated experience in collision scene investigation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to independently manage and complete assignments
Courtroom testimony experience
Trial preparation and litigation support experience
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
The candidate’s credential should include one or more of the following: Operator of a repair shop
Hands-on experience with collision repair as a tech
Damage appraiser for a shop or carrier
Tech school education on vehicle repair with field experience
ICAR and or ASE certifications
Insurance carrier vehicle accident investigator or adjuster
Accident Reconstruction experience is a plus.
Ability to operate specialized investigative and reconstruction equipment is a plus.
Formal accident reconstruction training from a recognized institution
