About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct covert, stationary, and mobile surveillance
Conduct surveillance throughout the investigator's home state and surrounding states
Record subject activity using a video recording device
Conduct alive-and-well checks, locates, basic scene investigations, paint sample analysis, EDR, and RCS deployments/retrievals
Prepare and complete written reports of observations
Upload video evidence and surveillance reports
Provide clear reports of activities to the operations team
Conduct basic claims investigations
Travel daily within the assigned area or territory

Requirements

What you’ll need

Private Investigator licenses required; licensing differs between states
Must meet state-mandated requirements to obtain and maintain Private Investigator licenses in multiple states
Current NY Private Investigator license preferred
Previous experience related to surveillance or claims investigations preferred
Access to a reliable, suitable surveillance vehicle for day-to-day use
Valid driver's license
Ability to provide MVR (driving record)
Willingness to travel throughout the home state and surrounding states for work
Availability for varying weekly schedules, including weekends and holidays
Good oral and written communication skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Must pass a drug screen
