About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide Computer Network Defense (CND) support to ensure products, systems, and services comply with all appropriate IA & CSSP policies/procedures, network defense requirements and best practices as prescribed by the Office of the Directory of National Intelligence (ODNI), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), the CSSP TIER-II, and local authorities.
Stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time while delivering training.
Be able to maneuver in and out of strategic and tactical equipment, and capable of lifting and moving electronic equipment in excess of 40lbs in and out of classrooms and labs.
Follow any other instructions, and perform any other related duties, as assigned by their supervisor.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Security Clearance: obtain and maintain TS with SCI eligibility.
Certification & Training, Baseline, day 1: Any one of the following certifications: CEH, CySA+, CCNA Cyber Ops, GCIA, GCIH.
Certification & Training, CE, within 6 months: CISA or GSNA or CySA+ or cyber/information/network security advanced degrees (additional training, certifications, and/or years of relevant technical experience may be substituted for a degree);
Experience: at least two (2) years’ experience with Cyber Security CS disciplines within the DoD and/or other agencies within the United States Government.
Proficiencies: advanced IT administrator skills in remote administration, remote desktop;
Working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) / Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies;
Working knowledge of the DoD, IC, and national level system security initiatives;
Be familiar with the requirements outlined in the most current Evaluator Scoring Metric (ESM).
