About the role
- Performing, coordinating, and managing fieldwork operations.
- Analyzing diverse field data (including GPR, FWD, and distress surveys).
- Developing pavement design recommendations using methodologies such as the 1993 AASHTO Pavement Design Guide.
- Assisting in or leading the preparation of technical project reports.
- Engaging in various project types, including pavement testing, evaluation, design, and management.
- Providing technical oversight and optimizing processes within the Pavement Engineering practice (for Senior roles).
- Managing multiple, concurrent projects, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence (for Senior roles).
Requirements
- B.S.C.E. degree or higher
- Proficiency in technical writing and verbal communication
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite
- A proactive attitude and ability to "hit the ground running."
- Familiarity and working knowledge with AID’s advanced technologies are highly desirable.
- 10 years of progressive experience in the pavement engineering consulting industry (for Senior-Level roles)
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (for Senior-Level roles)
- In-depth knowledge of pavement engineering principles and design methodologies (for Senior-Level roles)
- Proven experience in project management, proposal preparation, and staff supervision (for Senior-Level roles)
