About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and maintain backend services and APIs in Python as part of our MCP project.
Collaborate closely with the Product team to understand requirements, propose solutions, and iterate on feedback.
Optimize existing application code to improve performance and maintainability.
Share best development practices and contribute to technical documentation.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficiency with Claude Code for AI-assisted development: code generation, refactoring, debugging, and codebase exploration.
Design, development, and maintenance of Python applications and RESTful APIs (FastAPI, Django, Flask).
Strong SQL skills with ability to write complex analytical queries.
Familiarity with Snowflake is a plus but not required.
Strong engineering discipline: automation and tooling with GitHub, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), testing, linting, and structured review processes.
Experience working with cloud and scalable environments.
