About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support leaders with day-to-day tasks, ensuring compliance with municipal and state tax obligations in accordance with current legislation.
Liaise with tax authorities for inquiries, resolution of outstanding issues, and problem-solving.
Interpret legislation and provide guidance to the team.
Provide technical support to internal departments and assist with audits and inspections.
Propose process improvements in coordination with the IT area.
Stay up to date on legal changes, train new employees, organize digital files, and perform related activities as required by the department.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong knowledge of municipal, state, and federal legislation
Tax routines and processes
Basic accounting knowledge
System knowledge of: Mastersaf, GB, Opera, OnBase, Sênior
Microsoft Office: Intermediate
Basic English
Minimum education: Completed Technical Course (Vocational)
