About the role
- Support leaders with day-to-day tasks, ensuring compliance with municipal and state tax obligations in accordance with current legislation.
- Liaise with tax authorities for inquiries, resolution of outstanding issues, and problem-solving.
- Interpret legislation and provide guidance to the team.
- Provide technical support to internal departments and assist with audits and inspections.
- Propose process improvements in coordination with the IT area.
- Stay up to date on legal changes, train new employees, organize digital files, and perform related activities as required by the department.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of municipal, state, and federal legislation
- Tax routines and processes
- Basic accounting knowledge
- System knowledge of: Mastersaf, GB, Opera, OnBase, Sênior
- Microsoft Office: Intermediate
- Basic English
- Minimum education: Completed Technical Course (Vocational)
