About the role

  • Support leaders with day-to-day tasks, ensuring compliance with municipal and state tax obligations in accordance with current legislation.
  • Liaise with tax authorities for inquiries, regularization of outstanding issues and problem resolution; interpret legislation and provide guidance to the team.
  • Provide technical support to internal departments, support audits and inspections by supplying documents and information, and propose process improvements in coordination with IT.
  • Stay up to date on legal changes, train new employees, organize digital files, and perform related activities as required by the department.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of: Municipal, State and Federal legislation
  • Tax department routines
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • System knowledge: Mastersaf, GB, Opera, Onbase, Sênior
  • Microsoft Office: Intermediate
  • Basic English
  • Minimum education: Completed Technical Course
