About the role
- Support leaders with day-to-day tasks, ensuring compliance with municipal and state tax obligations in accordance with current legislation.
- Liaise with tax authorities for inquiries, regularization of outstanding issues and problem resolution, as well as interpret legislation and advise the team.
- Provide technical support to internal departments, assist with audits and inspections by supplying documents and information, and propose process improvements in coordination with IT.
- Stay up to date on legal changes, train new employees, organize digital files, and perform related duties as required.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of municipal, state, and federal tax legislation
- Familiarity with tax department routines
- Basic accounting knowledge
- System knowledge: Mastersaf, GB, Opera, OnBase, Sênior
- Microsoft Office: Intermediate
- Basic English
- Minimum education: Technical course (completed)
