About the role
- Gather and understand requirements with business teams
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and the Spring Framework
- Implement and consume REST and SOAP APIs for system integration
- Propose and implement technical solutions that add value
- Participate in defining architectures for scalable and secure solutions
- Share knowledge and best practices with the team
- Report project progress according to IT Governance methodology
- Ensure delivery quality and act with a sense of ownership
Requirements
- Solid experience with Java 8 or higher
- Advanced knowledge of the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, etc.)
- Knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle databases, including:
- Relational data modeling
- Creation and optimization of SQL queries
- Stored procedures, triggers, and views
- Integration with backend applications
- Experience implementing REST and SOAP APIs
- Experience with OpenShift for container orchestration
- DevOps practices, using tools such as:
- GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes
- Familiarity with RFID processes (reading, writing, and system integration)
- Nice to have: Knowledge of Quarkus
- Experience with Angular for front-end development
- Knowledge of Go (GoLang)
- Experience with retail systems
