About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Establish and update internal policies related to data handling, regular and exceptional audit procedures, and internal compliance.
Advise, coordinate, and support the implementation of legal changes, ensuring alignment with the company’s evolving needs while staying current with legislative updates.
Draft and review contracts, agreements and other legal documents to align with the company’s needs and legal standards.
Support the AML/KYC requirements.
Support the company’s business development by addressing any legal matters that arise.
Represent the company in legal matters when necessary to protect its interests.
Provide guidance to management and Teams stakeholders on a wide range of legal topics, from organizational management to customer legal aspects and their continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and standards, including data protection requirements, GDPR, and data law, while advising management on necessary actions to uphold these standards.
Stay updated on legal trends and regulations impacting the European digital business sector, and Estonia in particular.
Collaborate with other departments to identify and manage legal risks effectively across the company including reviewing legal aspects of product features, terms & conditions, and ensuring its legal accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Master’s degree combined with relevant experience.
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal advisor or lawyer.
Expertise in contract and commercial law.
Experience with copyright law and related legal issues.
Fluent written and verbal communication skills in Estonian and English.
Proficiency in MS Office and excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle complex assignments and multi-task efficiently.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
