About the role
- Independently manage the ongoing accounting for the holding company
- Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual closings in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Support with accruals, provisions and closing entries
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger accounts
- Reconcile intra-group allocations and intercompany relationships
- Contribute to the preparation of the consolidated financial statements (HGB)
- Prepare and provide closing data for the consolidation system
- Support reporting and analysis activities for management
- Support the implementation of new reporting systems
- Contribute to the development of accounting processes and policies
- Support liquidity planning and cash management
- Execute and document daily payment transactions
- Assist in managing intra-group loans and financing
- Support bank and treasury reporting
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training with a focus on accounting, ideally with additional qualification as a financial accountant (m/f/d)
- Initial professional experience in accounting, preferably within a holding or group structure
- Good knowledge of accounting under the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Confident use of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or similar)
- Initial experience with consolidation systems (e.g., IBM Cognos, LucaNet or similar) is an advantage
- Structured, precise working style and strong numerical affinity
- Team-oriented personality with willingness to learn and initiative
