About the role
- Collaborating with the quest, narrative, level design teams and other departments in crafting a cohesive experience for the game’s locations, characters, content, and plots
- Collaborate with our Quest and Narrative Designers and Engineers to further develop the pipelines and processes of the Quest Design team
- Designing and implementing functional quests and becoming proficient in using our tools
- Help express the story's vision via excellent exploration, dialogue, gameplay, and activities
- Providing constructive feedback on others’ work
- Acting as a liaison to other departments, conveying the consistent design vision of the project
Requirements
- Proven experience as a professional Game Designer (or some combination of applicable training and experience)
- Experience with technical game design (implementation in tools, game logic, visual scripting, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks in a confidential environment
- Creative problem-solving skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Experience pitching game design concepts in a clear, detailed manner, through strong written and verbal skills
- Organization methods and the capability to meet agreed timelines
- The ability to collaborate and thrive as part of a creative team
