About the role
- Own and drive initiatives for better operational excellence -- ensuring clear plans, timelines, dependencies, and accountability across global stakeholders
- Establish and maintain lightweight but effective project management rhythms, tracking progress, risks, and follow‑ups across multiple concurrent workstreams for high priority projects
- Assist with the planning and prioritization for Activision and Blizzard International Communications comms budgets, agency retainers, and long-range planning
- Partner with Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with internal controls, and disciplined spend management
- Help leaders understand resourcing tradeoffs, budget implications, and capacity constraints through clear, concise summaries
- Build trusted relationships across regions and other functions, enabling smooth execution in a matrixed environment
- Prepare clear, executive‑ready materials for review and alignment
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in business management, operations, project management, or a similar role in a global, matrixed organization
- Exceptional project management skills with a proven ability to bring structure to complex, ambiguous environments
- Strong financial acumen, including experience partnering with finance teams on budgets, forecasting, and spend tracking
- High attention to detail paired with the ability to see the bigger picture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to distill complexity into clear, actionable insights
- High emotional intelligence, professionalism, and a collaborative working style
- Experience supporting communications, marketing, or corporate affairs teams
- Familiarity with global agency or vendor management models
- Experience working across multiple regions (EMEA, APAC, LATAM) and time zones
