About the role
- Design, develop, and deploy full-stack features from concept to production
- Translate product requirements into technical specifications, architectural decisions, and high-quality implementations
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and observability via monitoring and alerting solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, data scientists, and other engineers
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and team retrospectives
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
- Experience in backend development
- Strong Java and SQL backend expertise, with a track record of building reliable and scalable APIs and services
- Proven experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and/or Angular
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and core JavaScript/TypeScript (ES7+)
- Experience in designing cohesive full-stack architectures that integrate frontend and backend systems seamlessly
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Gradle, or similar
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and related infrastructure components
- Knowledge of Java 8+ features and ecosystem (preferred)
- Experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS, LESS, or CSS Modules (preferred)
- Background in test-driven development and working in UNIX-based environments (preferred)
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git (preferred)
- Understanding of web protocols, application servers, and web server configurations (preferred)
- Passion for performance optimization, maintainability, and long-term scalability (preferred)
