About the role

  • Planning and implementation of control systems: design and implementation of control and automation solutions for projects in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries
  • Low-voltage system design: sizing and documentation of wiring diagrams and low-voltage installations
  • Hardware engineering: selection and sizing of hardware components for complex system requirements
  • Testing of control cabinets and intrinsic safety verifications: review of control cabinet design and ensuring intrinsic safety
  • Project execution & documentation: management of subprojects, preparation of technical project documentation (e.g., wiring diagrams, test reports)
  • Customer support: technical support for project management and coordination with customers on site

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or Electrical/Instrumentation and Control Engineering (E-/MSR), or an electrical apprenticeship with further training as a technician (m/f/d)
  • Practical experience in the design and planning of control and automation systems
  • Experience with CAE tools, ideally EPLAN P8
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage
