About the role
- Set up and lead the Process Engineering department
- Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for the team
- Plan, optimize and further develop process engineering and internal processes
- Technical design and implementation of equipment and systems – from concept phase through commissioning
- Project management including budget and schedule responsibility
- Provide technical customer consulting and support during the acquisition process
- Serve as a liaison to internal departments and external partners
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar environment, plus several years of project management experience
- Solid knowledge of technical standards and good understanding of GMP requirements
- Leadership personality with a hands-on mentality and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong consulting skills and professional communication in customer interactions
- Excellent written and spoken German and business‑fluent English
