About the role

  • Serve as the governance function for the project organization
  • Further develop the existing review process
  • Select and implement a project management software
  • Contribute to the further development of existing project management standards
  • Organize and conduct training sessions
  • Establish standards for project audits and health checks, as well as internal reporting
  • Validate project metrics against budgets, schedules and other contractual obligations
  • Develop and track action plans with the business units
  • Ensure compliance with defined processes for project reviews
  • Act as a partner to project managers and project controllers on projects with special requirements

Requirements

  • Completed degree (industrial engineering, business administration) or equivalent, ideally with relevant professional experience
  • Experience in project management is desirable; certifications in common project management standards such as PRINCE, GPM, PMI, PMP or ITIL are a plus
  • Experience in contract management and claims management desirable
  • Knowledge of project planning software (e.g., MS Project) desirable
  • Excellent German language skills, spoken and written
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (preferably SAP)
  • Independent, goal- and results-oriented, and structured working style
