About the role

  • Plan and execute internal and external events with several hundred attendees
  • Create innovative event content and engage keynote speakers through thorough research
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, project plans, and timelines to ensure objectives are met
  • Manage attendee lists and, where appropriate, implement suitable registration/management tools
  • Coordinate external event/PR agencies and logistics providers to support events
  • Direct the production of marketing materials and take responsibility for PR strategy and positioning, focusing on relevant content and audience-appropriate messaging

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational training in a relevant field, or equivalent experience in planning large-scale events
  • Several years of experience planning and delivering events, ideally B2B and interactive formats such as workshops
  • Strong organizational skills and initiative for managing schedules, budgets, and complex processes
  • Excellent communication skills, confident writing style, and a good sense for content (e.g., articles, interviews, flyers)
  • Interest in and quick understanding of technical topics (industry, automation, IT)
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 30%) and a valid Class B driver's license
