About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review business processes, information systems and policies for compliance with legal requirements
- Work closely with data protection and information security officers
- Handle client inquiries and act as the point of contact for data protection and IT law matters
- Establish and optimize business processes as well as data protection and IT security management systems
- Develop data-protection-compliant solutions and processes for our clients
- Participate in varied projects
- Occasional business travel to clients in Bavaria
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree with a legal focus (e.g., Legal Tech, Business Law or Law)
- Ideally professional experience in data protection, IT security, legal consulting or a similar field; at minimum prior exposure to current data protection laws/regulations and a solid understanding of the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG)
- Strong IT skills and affinity for technology
- Confident presence, advisory competence and strong communication skills
- Self-reliance, commitment and the ability to work well in a team
- Business-fluent German
