About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review business processes, information systems and policies for compliance with legal requirements
Work closely with data protection and information security officers
Handle client inquiries and act as the point of contact for data protection and IT law matters
Establish and optimize business processes as well as data protection and IT security management systems
Develop data-protection-compliant solutions and processes for our clients
Participate in varied projects
Occasional business travel to clients in Bavaria

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed degree with a legal focus (e.g., Legal Tech, Business Law or Law)
Ideally professional experience in data protection, IT security, legal consulting or a similar field; at minimum prior exposure to current data protection laws/regulations and a solid understanding of the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG)
Strong IT skills and affinity for technology
Confident presence, advisory competence and strong communication skills
Self-reliance, commitment and the ability to work well in a team
Business-fluent German
