About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review business processes, information systems and policies for compliance with legal requirements
  • Work closely with data protection and information security officers
  • Handle client inquiries and act as the point of contact for data protection and IT law matters
  • Establish and optimize business processes as well as data protection and IT security management systems
  • Develop data-protection-compliant solutions and processes for our clients
  • Participate in varied projects
  • Occasional business travel to clients in Bavaria

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree with a legal focus (e.g., Legal Tech, Business Law or Law)
  • Ideally professional experience in data protection, IT security, legal consulting or a similar field; at minimum prior exposure to current data protection laws/regulations and a solid understanding of the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG)
  • Strong IT skills and affinity for technology
  • Confident presence, advisory competence and strong communication skills
  • Self-reliance, commitment and the ability to work well in a team
  • Business-fluent German
