About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage overall team operations, client coordination, and customer service delivery
  • Coordinate, coach, and assist Account Associates and prioritize their workload
  • Develop, coach, and assist Account Associates and other team members using expertise in client services, insurance processing, and customer experience
  • Assist Producers and Account Executives with client service commitments
  • Ensure service standards are met, identify trends, and implement team process improvements
  • Serve as the day-to-day customer contact, troubleshoot issues, and help clients make well-informed decisions
  • Manage new business and renewal processes and oversee day-to-day client changes
  • Ensure client service delivery supports retention, account rounding, referrals, and uneventful renewals
  • Send pre-renewal information within service standards and follow up with clients and insurance markets for timely responses and quotes
  • Manage renewal marketing plans with Producers and Service Teams and ensure execution
  • Create accurate proposals and deliverables for client renewal meetings
  • Review quotes for accuracy against supporting documents
  • Negotiate additional coverage and pricing with underwriters
  • Complete renewal bind processes and checklists accurately and promptly
  • Ensure renewals are completed and documented in client files
  • Maintain accurate file documentation to minimize E&O exposure and respond quickly to client requests

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of employee benefits experience within the insurance industry or related business experience
  • Active Life & Health Insurance License is required
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, presentations, conferences, and other business-related events
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities
  • Comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership
