About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain and update client financial and bond files
- Receive and dispatch correspondence promptly
- Review contracts and bond forms and extract relevant information
- Prepare bid and final bonds, subdivision bonds, license and miscellaneous bonds, ensuring accuracy before transmittal
- Frequently keep clients updated on request status
- Process final close-outs for premium audits
- Act as liaison with surety companies and maintain surety relationships
- Act as liaison with clients and client staff
- Assist Client Advisors
- Assist other team members
- Prepare routine and follow-up correspondence, both paper and electronic
- Maintain agency management system and files
- Draft and/or send correspondence
- Prepare overnight packages and receipts and assist with mail
- Answer the telephone and respond to voice messages
- Provide other administrative support as directed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced surety professional
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Applied EPIC experience
- Prior experience in surety bonds required
- Prior accounting experience related to insurance and surety business preferred
- Must hold a California Property & Casualty license
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable with an on-site presence
- Final candidates must complete post-offer verification processes related to the role and applicable laws
