About the role
- Provide excellent customer service to Transportation policyholders and prospects
- Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries from policyholders and prospects
- Process changes to the policy as requested by the insured according to agency procedure
- Issue certificates of insurance as requested by insured and/or broker
- Create billing activities for accounting
- Monitor pending cancellations according to agency procedure
- Keep all information in agency management system accurate including driver/vehicles schedules
- Activity all correspondence, email, phone calls, etc. in agency management system
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferably 3 years of experience in customer service, in the insurance industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ohio Property & Casualty License preferred
- Willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire required
