About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and develop the retail insurance commercial operation, ensuring achievement of sales and profitability targets.
- Lead, supervise, and develop the sales team, promoting high performance and excellence in customer service.
- Define commercial strategies for prospecting, converting, and retaining clients in individual and retail insurance segments.
- Monitor performance indicators and develop action plans to maximize results and business opportunities.
- Conduct complex commercial negotiations and support the team in closing sales.
- Ensure correct use of systems, processes, and operational controls related to insurance sales.
- Work collaboratively with corporate departments to ensure process alignment and adherence to company guidelines.
- Prepare and present management reports and results to the administrative and executive board.
- Identify opportunities for portfolio expansion, productivity improvements, and continuous enhancement of commercial processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards in customer service.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in commercial management of retail insurance.
- Experience in developing, leading, and supervising sales teams.
- Hunter profile, with a strong focus on prospecting, business generation, and portfolio expansion.
- Hands-on approach, with the ability to support strategic negotiations and drive results.
- Excellent communication, analytical skills, and business acumen.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Organized, autonomous, and capable of self-management.
- Experience monitoring and managing commercial performance indicators.
- Knowledge of the insurance market and main insurance products for individuals and retail.
