About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Consulting Actuary is responsible for leading client engagements as actuary
  • coordinating and completing client projects
  • presenting reports and communicating and responding to client needs
  • providing strategic advice to clients, as appropriate.
  • Perform all aspects of defined benefit pension actuarial client service
  • Present and communicate with clients.
  • Review monthly utilization to ensure that standards are met or exceeded.
  • Participate in training programs to develop a better understanding of retirement and actuarial concepts.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with major in related field or equivalent education and experience
  • Actuarial Credentials – EA and either ASA or FSA required
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of directly related experience with a consulting firm
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work on and complete multiple tasks under aggressive timeframes
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
