About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Consulting Actuary is responsible for leading client engagements as actuary
coordinating and completing client projects
presenting reports and communicating and responding to client needs
providing strategic advice to clients, as appropriate.
Perform all aspects of defined benefit pension actuarial client service
Present and communicate with clients.
Review monthly utilization to ensure that standards are met or exceeded.
Participate in training programs to develop a better understanding of retirement and actuarial concepts.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree with major in related field or equivalent education and experience
Actuarial Credentials – EA and either ASA or FSA required
A minimum of ten (10) years of directly related experience with a consulting firm
Strong project management skills
Ability to work on and complete multiple tasks under aggressive timeframes
Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
