About the role
- Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries from policyholders and prospects
- Provide information about insurance products, coverage, and policies
- Process policy changes, renewals, and cancellations
- Investigate and resolve policyholder complaints, billing issues, and claims inquiries
- Assist policyholders in filing claims and provide guidance on claim procedures
- Handle escalated customer service issues and collaborate with team members to resolve complex problems
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and update policyholder information as required
- Promote additional insurance products and services to policyholders
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Bilingual in Spanish/English strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry
