About the role
- Responsible for prospecting and running Auris Payroll presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid-sized merchants and businesses to ultimately close deals within a fast sales cycle.
- Explain the value proposition to clients via Atlas CRM, upsell current clients on other Heartland products and services.
- Maintain regular communication with the Payroll Territory Manager (PTM) and/or Payroll Division Manager (PDM).
- Close sales of business solutions with merchants throughout the area.
- Set appointments with business owners in person or face to face via your network and referral partnerships.
- Run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Auris solutions to close sales in small to mid-sized businesses.
- During training period, accompany on initial appointments to train on sales process using tablet based CRM platform, Atlas.
- Set your own work schedule to maximize the upside of commission and residuals on business you bring in.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid Driver’s License and valid automobile insurance
- Successful completion of pre-employment background check
- Must live in area relative to job posting location
- At least two years of relevant experience
- Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skills
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Professional demeanor and impeccable integrity
- High sense of urgency and innate sales talent
- Enjoys cold-calling and speaking with people face to face
- Accountable for measurable, high-quality, timely results
- Ability to be in the field, a minimum of 50% of the time
