About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for prospecting and running Auris Payroll presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid-sized merchants and businesses to ultimately close deals within a fast sales cycle.
  • Explain the value proposition to clients via Atlas CRM, upsell current clients on other Heartland products and services.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Payroll Territory Manager (PTM) and/or Payroll Division Manager (PDM).
  • Close sales of business solutions with merchants throughout the area.
  • Set appointments with business owners in person or face to face via your network and referral partnerships.
  • Run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Auris solutions to close sales in small to mid-sized businesses.
  • During training period, accompany on initial appointments to train on sales process using tablet based CRM platform, Atlas.
  • Set your own work schedule to maximize the upside of commission and residuals on business you bring in.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Valid Driver’s License and valid automobile insurance
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background check
  • Must live in area relative to job posting location
  • At least two years of relevant experience
  • Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skills
  • Works well independently and as part of a team
  • Professional demeanor and impeccable integrity
  • High sense of urgency and innate sales talent
  • Enjoys cold-calling and speaking with people face to face
  • Accountable for measurable, high-quality, timely results
  • Ability to be in the field, a minimum of 50% of the time
