About the role

  • Lead end-to-end budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes for the Global Specialty business unit
  • Develop driver-based financial models tailored specifically for insurance product dynamics and P&L structures
  • Analyze revenue, loss ratios, claims patterns, underwriting performance, and other insurance-related KPIs
  • Prepare executive-level reporting packages comparing actuals to forecast, budget, and prior periods
  • Provide regular visibility into operational and financial risks and opportunities across the portfolio
  • Serve as the primary finance partner to Global Specialty leadership
  • Use financial modeling and analysis to support growth and strategic initiatives
  • Support the implementation of enterprise FP&A tools and process enhancements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Global Specialty Leadership, Data & Analytics, and Corporate Accounting
  • Build strong relationships with leadership and insurance segment agency partners to support financial performance and operational execution
  • Represent FP&A in strategic discussions
  • Mentor and lead a team of analysts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related quantitative field
  • 10+ years of FP&A or finance experience, with at least 5 years in leadership and people management roles
  • Insurance industry experience required (e.g., brokerage, carrier); strong understanding of insurance financials, loss ratios, claims, underwriting, and product economics
  • Exceptional financial modeling capabilities, advanced Excel proficiency, and experience building complex analytical models
  • Experience with FP&A planning tools (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, Oracle EPM)
  • Strong analytics background, including experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
  • Strong partnership with data and technology teams; familiarity with data governance, data warehouses, and semantic layers
  • Proven record of developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver insights clearly and concisely to executive leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and analytical excellence
