About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Establish and manage sustainability data collection systems using software platforms including Microsoft Excel, PowerBI and construction specific compliance and reporting tools
Brief and coordinate with the Project team including sub-contractors to obtain the required information
Conduct assessments to identify opportunities and risks related to environmental, social, and economic impact.
Collaborate with project teams to integrate sustainability into design, procurement, and construction phases.
Monitor and report on sustainability performance indicators, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with sustainability requirements, regulations, and standards, providing guidance and support to project teams
Preparation of Infrastructure Sustainability Rating submissions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science or a related field
Previous experience in sustainability roles, preferably within the infrastructure or construction industry
Experience and skills in data management and PowerBI
Knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainability reporting frameworks, sustainability policies, and green building codes relevant to infrastructure development
Experience conducting sustainability assessments such as life cycle analyses, and stakeholder engagement activities
Familiarity with sustainability assessment tools (e.g., Infrastructure Sustainability Rating tool)
Certification or professional accreditation in sustainability (e.g., ISAP, GSAP, LEED AP, GRI Certified Sustainability Professional) is advantageous
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare technical reports, presentations, and sustainability communications materials
Excellent organisational and data management skills
