- Provides positive leadership to subcontractors
- Monitors and controls performance and ensures quality and standard of workmanship
- Drives commitment to quality both top down and bottom up
- Ensures project team completes all outstanding defects as a matter of priority
- Manages operational aspects of project delivery
Requirements
- 7 years’ experience in a construction / engineering environment, on large scale renewable energy and substations projects
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering) Electrical or Mechanical
- Tier 1 contractor experience preferred
- Competent with cost control of projects
- Experience constructing outdoor air insulated substations and substations at 220kV or above
- Clear communication – verbal and written
- Working knowledge of HS&E requirements and implementation of same
