About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop innovative, forward-looking data science and AI solutions for clients
Drive the adoption of generative and agentic AI
Identify improvement and value-creation opportunities
Develop targeted data analyses
Identify, design, and test data-driven use cases
Implement and scale AI solutions from initial concept to production
Work closely with interdisciplinary teams and client stakeholders and decision-makers
Support solutions from prototype to production deployment
Contribute to clients' AI transformation and to value creation from data

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successful completion of a relevant Master's or PhD degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or Business
At least 2–3 years of experience in data science
Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, or reinforcement learning
Solid understanding of generative AI, e.g., Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
Some experience with agentic AI and frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph
Strong programming skills in Python or R
Experience with Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
Experience with data aggregation/processing, e.g., SQL or Spark
Preferred: experience with SQL, NoSQL, vector, or graph databases
Preferred: experience with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik
Preferred: experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to work creatively and effectively with clients
Willingness to travel for client projects
Independent, self-directed working style
Strong communication skills in German and English
Strong client focus
