About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as the functional leader for the Procurement process in the Service Center, ensuring operational stability, governance and adherence to the contracted scope.
  • Ensure end-to-end execution of transactional Procurement processes, according to guidelines defined in the operating model and the Solution Plan.
  • Define, review and approve Work Instructions (WIs), operational workflows and process standards, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Lead the management of performance indicators (KPIs, SLAs, backlog, productivity, quality and compliance), promoting control and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure correct separation between Retained activities and the Service Center, providing clarity of responsibilities and process governance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the operations team, leading alignments, exception handling and strategic client support.
  • Sponsor initiatives for standardization, automation, mitigation of operational risks and continuous improvement of the Procurement process.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Logistics or related fields.
  • Solid experience in Procurement Operations or a Shared Services Center, with background in functional leadership, governance and managed services.
  • End-to-end mastery of Procurement subprocesses, including Requisition Processing, Purchase Order (PO) Creation, Change and Administration, Spot Buy/Concierge, Catalog Management and Supplier Operational Support.
  • Strong knowledge of operational governance, performance management, indicators (KPIs and SLAs), backlog control, compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP and/or Oracle, and the ability to develop and maintain operational documentation such as WIs and DTPs.
  • Demonstrated functional leadership, influencing ability, systems thinking, strategic mindset, clear executive communication, sound decision-making and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Experience with critical suppliers of raw materials, packaging and industrial services, and understanding of Procurement’s direct impact on factory supply and production continuity.
