About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The SAP Solution Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end SAP solutions tailored to meet the operational, logistical, and financial requirements of Defense programs.
Design scalable, secure, and compliant SAP solutions aligned with DoD agency enterprise architecture standards.
Lead the development of SAP architecture roadmaps in support of DoD business objectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and system integrators to gather requirements and define SAP system specifications.
Guide the configuration and customization of SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, PM, HR, WM, FM).
Ensure all SAP solutions comply with DoD cybersecurity and information assurance standards (e.g., RMF, STIGs).

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
8+ years of SAP experience, including at least 3 years in a Solution Architect role.
Experience supporting Defense SAP implementations.
Deep understanding of SAP architecture and modules relevant to defense operations.
Strong knowledge of Defense business processes, procurement systems, and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with Defense cybersecurity frameworks and system accreditation processes.
