About the role
- Move beyond 'pass/fail' auditing. Work directly with buyers to ensure Price Reasonableness and Source Selection documentation are audit-ready.
- Act as the 'Help Desk' for the procurement team. Provide clear, jargon-free interpretations of FAR/DFARS requirements.
- Partner with procurement leadership to create workflows that are both compliant and efficient.
- Conduct live file compliance checks and use these as teaching moments.
- Lead the DCMA audit process by showcasing team strengths and robust controls.
- Develop and deliver engaging training sessions that translate dense federal regulations.
- You enjoy teaching and helping buyers fix mistakes rather than penalizing them.
- You have a deep understanding of DFARS 252.244-7001 and can explain it simply.
- You can balance firm requirements with a high-growth purchasing department.
- You have successfully led or supported a CPSR.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years in Federal Procurement/Subcontracts, with a heavy focus on compliance as a service.
- Direct experience managing the DCMA Contractor Purchasing System Review process.
- Exceptional emotional intelligence and communication skills. You must be able to influence and lead without always relying on 'authority.'
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; NCMA certifications (CPCM/CFCM) are a major plus.
