Manage daily operations and administration of servers and security tools in an enterprise environment while adhering to change management policies.
Build, maintain, and troubleshoot security tools and systems.
Develop system security context, preliminary CONOPS, and define baseline security requirements in compliance with applicable cybersecurity standards.
Document protection needs (security controls) for systems and networks.
Work with vulnerability scanning tools and remediate identified issues.
Coordinate with other teams to maintain and troubleshoot security tools, as well as manage project documentation and handoffs.
Perform security reviews, assess gaps in security architecture, and develop mitigation strategies.

Requirements

3+ years of work experience in Cybersecurity and IT.
Strong background in IT, with specific expertise in security engineering and SIEM experience (Splunk preferred).
Hands-on experience with Linux server administration, troubleshooting, and building (CentOS/RHEL preferred).
Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools for operating systems, web applications, and database assessments.
Experience developing/integrating cybersecurity designs for systems and networks.
Must hold an Active Secret clearance-no dual citizenship.
At least one certification from CISSP, CCSP, CCNA, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GIAC, SSCP, Security+ (or equivalent as approved by the Government).
