About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Sit inside delivery teams for the duration of engagements, not alongside them
Attend design and development sessions, review technical decisions as they are being made
Continuously assess whether what is being built conforms to Accelerant's architecture principles
Propose better paths and help the team take them where documented patterns do not exist
Make sound technical decisions quickly with available information
Assess capabilities built by business users and create a clear path to production
Design and validate integration patterns between enterprise systems and data platforms
Collaborate with the Data Office to ensure data products are accurate and accessible
Document technical decisions and ensure architectural decision records exist and are accessible

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong practical knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure and AWS
Comfortable with API design and integration patterns, including REST and event-driven architectures
Understand data product concepts, lineage, ownership, and what it means to describe data at source
Practical experience with at least one AI development framework
Experience working with enterprise SaaS platforms, particularly in finance, operations, or insurance domains
Experience with D365, Salesforce, or similar platforms is relevant.
Clear communication with both engineers and business stakeholders
Comfort with ambiguity and engaging with undefined problems
