About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to define and deliver AI-driven solutions
  • Translate business needs into actionable AI strategies and technical approaches
  • Provide leadership guidance to help engineering teams scale effectively
  • Contribute as an AI subject matter expert through training, playbooks, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
  • Ensure AI systems follow governance, compliance, and auditability standards
  • Lead technical design of AI agents and support RAG pipeline development across Databricks, Azure SQL, and Salesforce
  • Provide technical direction for deploying AI applications in Azure
  • Integrate AI agents into enterprise systems and APIs to enable automation
  • Ensure deployment and reliability of AI solutions through standardized workflows and CI/CD practices
  • Mentor junior AI engineers through code reviews, design feedback, and best-practice guidance
  • Develop and deliver AI training materials and enable train-the-trainer models across technical and business teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in AI engineering, machine learning, or software development with deployed AI solutions
  • Strong Python skills for AI/ML, including APIs, testing, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Functions, Container Apps, SQL, and Blob
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks and data lakes/warehouses
  • Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI practices, and compliance standards
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems with AI platforms, including Salesforce, NetSuite, REST APIs, and GraphQL APIs
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to explain AI to varied audiences
  • Experience with agent frameworks and vector databases preferred
  • Familiarity with evaluation and observability tools preferred
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods
  • Ability to analyze data for trends and errors and transfer data between systems
  • Frequent use of hand and finger dexterity
  • Ability to talk or hear continually
  • Close vision required due to computer work
  • Reliable internet connectivity
  • Ability to maintain and secure a company-provided laptop
