About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You develop and operate AI-native features end-to-end — with a focus on quality, safety, latency, and cost efficiency.
You build agentic applications and chatbots, including tool use, stateful workflows, and (multi-)agent orchestration.
You establish standards and best practices for how we develop, evaluate, and deploy AI systems.
You work closely with product and engineering leadership to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
You actively shape experimentation workflows and long-term AI roadmap decisions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience in data science, machine learning, or software engineering with current hands‑on experience in AI engineering and the LLM space.
Strong Python skills and cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Experience with evaluation, monitoring, and robust production pipelines.
Experience with agentic systems, chatbots, and tool‑using agents, and familiarity with multi‑agent architectures.
Knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG, and modern orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph or LangChain.
Ideally, experience with compliance topics, security/privacy‑by‑design, and a DevOps/SRE mindset — including experience with modern machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
Fluent German and good English language skills.
