About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct virtual consultations with clients and their families to assess their health needs and develop care plans
Assist with medication management, including refills and reminders
Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, such as doctors and nurses
Monitor and track clients' vital signs and health status
Provide education and support to clients and their families on managing chronic conditions and maintaining a healthy lifestyle
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Communicate regularly with our team of caregivers to ensure the best possible care for our clients
Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality at all times

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
Experience with virtual consultations and telemedicine preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in using technology and virtual platforms
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Compassionate and empathetic towards seniors and their families
Must be located in Ocala, FL or surrounding areas
