About the role

  • Develop state-of-the-art deep learning models for structure-based antibody design, antibody sequence design, antibody-antigen co-folding, binding prediction, and physics-based antibody design and evaluation
  • Analyze in silico and in vitro validation results to iteratively improve design and evaluation methodologies
  • Deliver and publish high-impact research that advances Absci’s position as a thought leader in AI antibody design
  • Support Absci’s AI Research team in developing and validating software platforms for antibody design and in silico assessment
  • Collaborate with Wet Lab and Drug Creation teams to translate experimentally-validated AI designs into clinically-viable therapeutics

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Computational Biology, Computational Chemistry, Biophysics, or a related field
  • Research experience at the intersection of machine learning and protein design, molecular modeling, or a related field
  • Fluency in Python and PyTorch
  • Comfortable with design, implementation, and evaluation of state-of-the-art AI algorithms for protein design and protein structure prediction
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an ambitious, fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment
  • Demonstrated experience presenting complex technical work to diverse audiences
  • Be available to work full-time for a 12 week duration
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required
