About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work with system integration engineers to deploy release candidates to the production environment
Participate in test, staging, and production deployment
Assist in maintaining services and procedures for a big data pipeline using Kafka, Elasticsearch, and in-house Python/Java microservices running on Kubernetes
Integrate Docker containers using Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm, and other DevOpsSec integration tools
Monitor automated system integration tests to identify failed modules and components
Manage individual project priorities, deliverables, and deadlines
Foster collaboration with team members to provide quality service and products to the customer
Support the design, engineering, development, deployment, and use of software for the DOMEX Technology Platform
Integrate off-the-shelf and new development efforts supporting DIA’s NMEC architecture and OSINT mission

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience, or Master’s with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain Poly
Experience with containerization, especially Docker
Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD tools and practices, especially GitLab or Jenkins
Experience with Agile practices
Development and/or scripting experience, especially Python and Bash
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well on a team and independently as a self-starter
Desired: Experience with Appian
Desired: Experience with Appian SAIL
Desired: Experience with systems at scale
Desired: Kafka or other message-passing systems experience
