About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the mechanical workstream across multidisciplinary projects
- Drive complex projects end-to-end
- Identify and solve complex technical challenges towards the client
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to client stakeholders
- Mentor and coach junior engineers
- Collaborate with electronics, firmware, software, and program management teams to deliver solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- 6–10 years of relevant professional experience in product development or consulting
- Experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Catia, Creo, NX)
- Strong hands-on experience with rapid prototyping (3D printing, CNC machining)
- Solid experience designing for production methods such as injection molding, sheet metal, machining
- Proven experience working with manufacturers and suppliers in Asia and/or Europe
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical reviews
- Experience guiding and coaching junior and intermediate engineers
